Frequently asked questions about Miraval Rosé

What kind of wine is Miraval Rosé?

Miraval is a dry Côtes de Provence rosé from a celebrated estate in the south of France, made from Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah and Rolle (Vermentino). It is pale pink, textured and serious, with fresh strawberry, citrus zest and a subtle creaminess. Find it in our rosé collection at $26.09.

Why is Miraval Rosé so popular?

It helped launch the premium-rosé boom and is widely regarded as one of the best-made Provence rosés at its price — more textured and age-worthy than most, while still fresh and easy to drink.

Is Miraval Rosé dry?

Yes, it is a crisp, dry rosé in the classic Provence mold. The fruit is bright and the finish is clean and mineral, with no perceptible sweetness.

What food pairs with Miraval Rosé?

Its extra texture lets it handle more than a light aperitif rosé — grilled fish, roast chicken, salade niçoise, sushi and soft cheeses all shine. Our best rosé wines for summer 2026 guide covers pairings in depth.

How should I serve and store Miraval Rosé?

Serve it well chilled at 45 to 50°F. It is best enjoyed young and fresh, within a year or two of the vintage, though its structure lets it hold slightly longer than most rosé.

What is a good alternative to Miraval Rosé?

For the same Provence style, AIX Rosé ($24.99) is a great-value option and Rock Angel Rosé ($38.09) is a richer step up. All three are compared in our summer rosé guide.

Celebrity connection aside, this truly is a great Rose'

Several factors prompted me to try this wine: Brad Pitt, of course. But also Provençal Rose' and the Perrin family as vintners. An intriguing combination of VIP heavyweights.

It was a gamble, but I took a chance and ordered a case of 12 bottles. Unfortunately, when my wine was delivered, one of the bottles had been leaking. But the replacement process with Bourbon Central was quite easy and resolved quickly. I appreciate that.

As far as the 2020 Miraval Rose', to me, it is refreshing and tasty. Not too citrusy or acidic. Just a wonderful light and very flavorful wine.

Celebrity connection aside, it truly is a delicious Rose'!
