Got the Penelope Tokaji Barrel Pick last month. My god, it was phenomenal. Tannic oak quickly fades to give way to such a lush rye. Can't wait for nex month!
8 people found this helpfulTbh, didn't really believe the whole 'special bottles' offering they say. But, I can say with certainty now that I can't find these gems locally. Always unique, and most importantly, phenomenal taste.
6 people found this helpfulToo many options at the liquor store! Don't know what's good juice and what's just branding. These guys do all the vetting for me, so so worth it.

Just Got My Allocated One
Score! One of my favs. Been getting this around $160 from other online retailers, but make that only $99 here. Got some great bourbon from the Collective this year, what better way to round it out than with Blanton's!?

Surprised...This Is Great
New bottle and brand for me! Never seen this around Northern CA, but it was incredible. The bourbon is beautifully mature and the cognac finish gives it the perfect distinction.

Special Penelope
I've had some of the Penelope offerings before, but never the Tokaji Finish and, specifically, this barrel pick. It was fantastic. Thank you guys!

Yay, It's Blantons
People will say it's for taters, but it really is great bourbon. Haven't been able to get my hands on one of these in a few years

Why Choose the Whiskey Connoisseur Collective?
Not Your Ordinary Bourbon Club
We know — there are a lot of fishy bourbon offers out there? So, why us? It's simple: we promise to send you unique, craft spirits & reward you for your loyalty. We all want the hail marry bottles; we'll we're the model where getting those is not just a slim chance, but a reality.
Goodbye Liquor Store Hunting!
We'll be the first to confess that the industry has gotten overcrowded by a deluge of brands in the recent years. Will staring at 57 similarly-shaped bottles really yield the best choice? Let us do the hard work. Our team is constantly evaluating new liquid gold, to ensure you get the best.
Let's Learn!
Some of our happiest moments as operators have been behind the scenes with distillers—learning everything there is about a serendipitous blend of rye, barley, wheat, and corn. We want to disseminate knowledge of the craft. Each month's bottle comes with a rabbit hole to go down: a tasting guide, a chronicle of the spirit's history, and an unfiltered chance to ask us questions.
