This is a polished, balanced, fairly rich Pinot from Martinborough's largest winery. It starts out a touch reductive, showing mealy oak, but as it opens shows more plump red berry fruit, undergrowth and gentle spice characters. Tannins have a savory, sappy tug on the silky fruit in the mouth.
