This whiskey undergoes a distinctive aging process in custom-built, casket-shaped foeders (large oak barrels) that hold up to 380 gallons - approximately 300 times the volume of a standard whiskey barrel. The whiskey is initially aged in new American oak barrels before finishing in these oversized charred American oak caskets.
The whiskey is proofed down using Liquid Death Mountain Water, which contributes to its clean, crisp profile and adds a subtle minerality to the finish.
