WhistlePig Boss Hog III The Independent is the third edition in Whistlepig’s Boss Hog series. The rye whiskey matured for 14 years and was finished in ex-scotch whisky barrels. It was bottled in 2016 at 120.1 proof. The whiskey comes in an elegantly designed bottle that might just have the coolest bottle stopper we’ve ever seen: a war pig with a cannon. Less than 30 casks have been bottled, making WhistlePig Boss Hog III The Independent a rare find.
