Our Wurtele vineyard on Spring Mountain is the beautiful source for this wine, sitting at 600-1000 feet. The climate and soils of this vineyard have produced a dark, complex, and brooding wine. The aromas indicate black forest fruits, espresso beans, dark chocolate, and cigar box. The flavor profile is rich with wild blueberry, dark cherry, mocha, and exotic spices. The palate is broad and complex with rich and well-structured tannins, creating a generous mouthfeel with a long, lingering finish.
