Snowden 'The Ranch' Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley

From the surprisingly wonderful Snowden 'The Ranch' Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley, this is a blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Merlot, and 1% Petit Verdot.  The growing season was idyllic until a heatwave in the fall quickly ripened the grapes and gave us a unique balance between the flavors developed through the temperate summer and the approachability and silky tannins coming from the heat boost in September.  Winemaker Diana Snowden Seyesses calls the Ranch “a slurper", offering a bright bouquet of cedar and blackberries …”  961 cases produced.
