From two of the most heralded vineyard sites I the Santa Lucia Highlands AVA, Royal Prince Pinot Noir was aged for 14 months in all French oak barrels, 60% new. Scented with notes of Bing cherry, raspberry jam and wild mint, there are savory aromas of shiitake mushrooms, sage, and lavender, presence of fog off the Pacific Ocean with cherry cola raised aromatics. Deeply textured with soft tannins and an elegant finish.
