Redemption Wheated Bourbon consists of a mash bill of 51% corn, 45% wheat, and 4% malted barley. Aged for four years in new oak barrels and bottled at 96-proof, the high wheat content results in a softer and sweeter whiskey. Its wonderfully complex aroma includes spice notes of ginger, sage, and lavender and fruity notes of pear, some vanilla, and toffee. The palate is intense with coffee beans, cured meat, nuts, spicy cardamom, black pepper, and a touch of mint. Finishes satisfyingly long and warming.
