This 9-year-old Bottled in Bond Bourbon was distilled in March of 2011, and of course, bottled at 50% ABV. The nose has notes of caramel candy, honey, cocoa beans, tobacco, vanilla, and a soft oakiness. The taste is thick, chewy, and spicy with black pepper and cinnamon that fade slowly to reveal honey, dark chocolate, and caramel along with just a hint of oak. The finish is long with lingering spices balanced by sweeter notes of honey and caramel.

    Arrived fast, well packaged, bottle in perfect condition.

    As far as the Bourbon, in my opinion this is one of the better Old Fitz releases.
