Obsidian “Poseidon Vineyard” Pinot Noir Napa Carneros

Obsidian Estate Pinot Noir Poseidon's Vineyard reflects the elegance and depth of Pinot Noir from one of Napa Valley's most esteemed vineyards. This wine presents a complex array of red cherry, raspberry, and subtle earthy notes, with a silky texture and refined tannins that speak to its meticulous winemaking process. It pairs beautifully with a wide range of dishes, from duck to mushroom risotto, highlighting the varietal's versatility and the unique expression of Poseidon's Vineyard.

From a single block with particularly gravelly soils on their Carneros estate, Poseidon's Pinot Noir is aged in 40% new Hungarian oak for 8 months. That oak gives the wine a touch of spice – cloves, nutmeg, black pepper – along with a meaty texture and bright, ripe berries, maraschino cherries, raspberries, strawberries, and blackberries, all lifted by high acidity.
