Gold-green color. A clear and precise wine, salt and flexible, anise. Finish is soft and warm.Force, fraicheur, précision. These words form the signature Brocard, a unique style that is found in each appellation of Chablis : Petit Chablis, Chablis, Chablis Premier Cru, Chablis Grand Cru, which are exported to nearly 50 countries. The expression of the soil, soil memory conveyed from vine to wine, pure typicity of Chablis basement sedimented by the sea during the Jurassic era. Nothing like a structured wine, powerful, long finish, to appreciate the complexity after terroir. Natural acidity, resulting from the minerality of the soil, giving the wine the tension that goes for signature. Since the beginning, Jean-Marc Brocard is committed to a healthier culture, respectful of its environment. In 1997, a plot of 11 hectares of Chablis is conducted in organic and biodynamic. This first step allows us to observer force and reflection, to better understand this work philosophy. A learning every day for the domaine and its teams. Today, 60 hectares are certified organic farming and biodynamic 40 hectares. What makes Domaine Jean-Marc Brocard one of the first wine producers in organic farming in Chablis and Burgundy. The first plot of Jean-Marc Brocard was a man, Louis Petit, winemaker who teach him the Vine, Wine and Men. Jean-Marc Brocard still cultivates his science and wisdom: “Look, be quiet and learn.“. The long years of learning, take the same paths of the old winemaker, put his hands on the same branches, watching the same moon, Jean-Marc Brocard has kept patience and respect, the lessons of the soil and subsoil, vines and life. Louis Petit told him how to talk the terroir. From root to the vine, from the vine to the cluster, from the cluster to the must, and from must to wine, he initiated the slow path of aromas. He told him, man to man, secrets and knowledge that can not be explained but which share in the light of early morning or in the cool shade of a cellar.
