When it launched in 2011 to mark the house's 70th anniversary, it was the world's first añejo claro, and it effectively created the clear-aged style other brands now chase. The liquid is 100% Blue Weber agave grown in the Highlands of Jalisco and distilled at the Atotonilco distillery Don Julio González founded in 1942. This release wraps that same tequila in the third bottle of Don Julio's Día de los Muertos artist series, designed by Mexico City's Patricio Campillo around a "Marigold Bridge" motif.
