From the Bersan family's estate in Saint-Bris-le-Vineux, just a stone's throw from Chablis, this Bourgogne Côtes d'Auxerre Pinot Noir shows the cool, crisp side of Burgundy. Made from roughly 40-year-old vines on clay and limestone, farmed organically since 2012, the hand-picked grapes are fermented with native yeasts and rested on fine lees for a fresh, precise red with perfumed, lively fruit and just enough gentle tannin for balance. It's an authentic, food-friendly Burgundy that shines alongside roast poultry, veal, charcuterie and cheese.

Domaine Bersan is a family estate in Saint-Bris-le-Vineux, in northern Burgundy near Chablis. This 100% Pinot Noir comes from roughly 40-year-old vines on clay and limestone soils, farmed organically since 2012. The grapes are hand-picked and destemmed, given a short cold soak, fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel, and then aged on fine lees for 6–10 months.

Perfumed and inviting. The aromatics are bright and fruit-driven, with the clarity you'd expect from cool northern Burgundy.

Fresh and precise, with lively fruit and a pleasantly textured mid-palate. The tannins are gentle but provide enough structure to keep everything in balance.

Clean and refreshing, with lingering fruit and a light structural grip that invites another sip.

This bottling offers a taste of the lesser-known Côtes d'Auxerre, a corner of Burgundy where Pinot Noir shows a lighter, more vibrant side. Old vines, organic farming and a mostly classic, low-intervention approach let the fruit and limestone-influenced terroir speak clearly. Wine Enthusiast praised the 2018 vintage as textured, perfumed and well balanced.

Serve slightly cool, around 55–60°F, to highlight its freshness. It pairs naturally with beef, veal, roast poultry and game, and it's equally at home with a board of cheeses and charcuterie.
