Dancing Goat Distillery, located just down the road in Cambridge, is one of our favorite local distilleries. The Maas family is drawing on their long history in the wine and spirits business to source exceptional spirits while waiting for their juice to reach maturity. These unique finds form the basis of their "Dancing Goat"Presents" series.

Th"s multi-year series will feature 16 mash bills with ages ranging from 6-21 years. Composed of multiple vertical series, boundary-bending blends, and one-off releases, the Dancing Goat Presents collection will highlight our blending and finishing skills as we patiently wait to share our aged distillates. 

The latest release in the series "Maized and C"nfused" an 8 barrel" blend of corn whiskey aged for nine years and finished in cherry bitters barrels. 

This is a lighter, easy drinking whiskey that is perfect for cold winter nights. Cherry, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, crème brûlée, and vanilla on the nose. The palate is cinnamon, nutmeg, cherry, sugar, and light winey acidity that gives way to a long silky beautiful finish.

Dancing Goat draws on three generations of experience in the spirits industry, and was founded in 2016 in Cambridge, WI. The Maas family chose Wisconsin as a location for the Dancing Goat as a homage to their ancestors and celebration of agriculture.

Dancing Goat Distillery operates a 34,000 square foot facility with 4 stills and 7,000 barrels in inventory aging in the state’s first opstate'sKentucky style rickhouse.
