El Tesoro Paradiso Extra Anejo Tequila is slowly aged in ex-cognac barrels for five years. On the nose there is a mix of butterscotch and herbs, with soft hints of smoke, oak and tropical notes. On the palate, a blend of sweet butterscotch and herbs. Flavors of butterscotch with hints of smoke and oak on the finish.

One of the absolute finest aged tequilas. Has a distinctive flavor from the cognac casks used to make it. I had my first taste over 20 years ago and it has been my favorite ever since.
