Barrell Bourbon 12 Year French Oak Cask Finish is a limited-release blend of straight bourbons distilled in Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, and Wyoming, aged at least 12 years, then finished for 3–36 months in hand-selected, custom-toasted French oak casks. Crafted and bottled in Louisville, Kentucky, at cask strength of 108.5 proof (54.25% ABV), this non-chillfiltered expression highlights only 3,000 bottles produced. The French oak's subtle tannins and lactones add refined depth without overpowering the mature bourbon base.

Antique brass appearance leads to vibrant pear brandy, pineapple, dried persimmon, cinnamon donut, mulled wine, hazelnut praline, hot cocoa, and resinous notes of thyme, tea tree oil, and incense. A few drops of water enhance earthy pipe smoke, black truffles, and spearmint.
