When Patrón launched in 1989, premium tequila wasn't really a category. The bottle changed that — hand-blown glass, 100% Weber Blue Agave, and a slow tahona-and-roller-mill production process that put pressure on every distillery in Jalisco to take small-batch quality seriously. Three decades later, Patrón is owned by Bacardi, distributed worldwide, and still produced at the same Hacienda Patrón distillery in the highlands of Atotonilco. This collection brings together every Patrón expression Bourbon Central stocks — from the workhorse Silver to the tahona-pressed Roca line to the ultra-rare Burdeos.
Patrón breaks neatly into five families, each built for a different occasion.
Core line (Silver, Reposado, Añejo, Extra Añejo). The lineup that built the brand. Patron Silver 80 Tequila ($55.09) is the cocktail standby — bright, peppery, agave-forward, and the bottle behind half the upscale margaritas in America. Patron Anjeo Tequila ($63.09) brings 12+ months of barrel time into honey, dried orange peel, and soft vanilla. For the most barrel-driven core expression, Patron Extra Anejo Tequila ($74.99) rests three years in oak and drinks like a great Cognac with the agave still singing through.
Roca line (tahona-pressed). The artisanal sub-brand. Made entirely with the traditional volcanic-stone tahona wheel — slower, more labor-intensive, more flavor extraction from the cooked agave. Patron Roca Silver Tequila ($69.09), Roca Patrón Tequila Reposado ($74.99), and Patron Roca Añejo Tequila ($94.09) all carry a denser, earthier, more cooked-agave profile than the core line — exactly what tequila purists are looking for.
Ahumado line (smoky). Patrón's mezcal-adjacent move. The Ahumado expressions are made with agave roasted using mesquite-fueled fire pits, lending them a smoke-kissed character that bridges tequila and mezcal worlds. Excellent for smoky margaritas or sipping next to grilled food.
Sherry-cask & limited finishes. Patron Sherry Cask Aged Añejo Tequila ($99.99) is the most accessible of the limited finishes — añejo finished in former Jerez sherry casks for added dried-fruit and nut complexity.
Gran Patrón (ultra-premium). The top of the pyramid. Gran Patrón Platinum, Piedra (extra añejo from tahona-pressed agave aged 3+ years), and the rare Burdeos — finished in Bordeaux barrels and one of the most expensive luxury tequilas Patrón makes.
Mix with the Silver, the Roca Silver, or the Reposado. Sip the Añejo, Extra Añejo, and any of the Gran Patrón expressions neat or on a single large rock — these are made for slow drinking, not shots. For Cinco de Mayo and tequila-cocktail season specifically, our Cinco de Mayo cocktail guide covers proper margarita, paloma, and ranch water specs that show off any Patrón expression.
If Patrón is your starting point but you want to see more of the category, browse Blanco Tequila for cocktail-grade silver expressions, Reposado Tequila for the do-it-all middle tier, Añejo Tequila for evening sippers, or Extra Añejo Tequila for the most barrel-aged spirits in the agave world. The full Tequila & Mezcal collection covers everything we ship — including the artisanal Mexican imports that almost never appear in chain stores.
For a deeper read on the brand families that compete with Patrón at every tier, our Best Añejo Tequilas of 2026 buyer's guide compares Patrón Añejo head-to-head against Don Julio, Casamigos, Casa Noble, and the rest of the premium field.
Every Patrón bottle in this collection ships fast from our climate-controlled warehouse with adult-signature delivery. Salud.
