Wine Enthusiast 94 points - Aged in former Bourbon, Sherry and Malaga casks, look for a deep orange-gold hue and inviting baked-pear aroma. The robust, spiced palate offers brown sugar, honey, golden raisins and vanilla-tinged baked pear.
Ultimate Beverage Challenge 93 points - Rather sultry on the nose with honeysuckle, salted peanuts, toasted hay, and a wisp of sweet smoke. Delicate mouthfeel, yet incredibly complex on the palate, the sherry and malaga casks add an incredible amount of depth. Poised and elegant, this is an outstanding whisky.
