A blend of 80% Grenache and 10% each Mourvèdre and Syrah, Chateauneuf du Pape Grande Reserve matured in a mix of tanks and barrels. Made from the estate's oldest Châteauneuf-du-Pape vines, it's impressively dark in color, yet not hugely expressive on the nose, showing just hints of red raspberries, cherries and orange zest. In the mouth, it's full-bodied and reasonably rich, with a velvety feel and some real concentration apparent on the lingering, spice-tinged finish
