It centers on Clynelish single malt matured in custom-toasted and charred second-fill American oak barrels, blended with Benrinnes for custard notes and a small portion of 24-year-old Speyburn aged in refill American hogsheads. Lead whiskymaker Samuel Travers crafted this indulgent expression, drawing inspiration from the 17th-century Crème Brûlée invented at Versailles.
