Komos Tequila

Tequila Komos is an ultra-premium tequila brand, best known for creating the first-ever 100 point rated Extra Anejo tequila. Its products are crafted in the small town of Tequila, Mexico. Unlike traditional luxury brands like Clase Azul or Dos Artes which use whiskey barrels for aging, Komos tequila is aged in wine barrels. The 3 expressions in the Tequila Komos lineup today are: Anejo Cristalino, Rosa Reposado, and the Extra Anejo. The Cristalino is first aged for 10-12 months in French oak white wine barrels, and later passed through a charcoal press to remove any color and bolster the flavor of the tequila. Meanwhile, the Rosa is aged in French red wine barrels for 2 months and the the Extra Anejo is aged for a minimum of 3 years. No matter the type, each tequila is sold in a stunning Komos ceramic decanter.
