Star Hill Farm American Wheat Whiskey 2025 is Maker's Mark's first non-bourbon release in over 70 years, crafted at their Loretto, Kentucky distillery on the 1,100-acre Star Hill Farm using two innovative mash bills: 70% soft red winter wheat with 30% malted barley, and 100% malted soft red winter wheat, blended to 51% soft red winter wheat, 27% malted soft red winter wheat, and 22% malted barley. This estate-grown whiskey follows traditional distillation—double pot still runs to high wine, proofed to 110 proof for barreling—aged 7-8 years in oak barrels with meticulous rotation for consistency, and bottled at a robust 114.7 proof (57.35% ABV). It's Kentucky's first estate-certified wheat whisky, powered by regenerative agriculture where at least two-thirds of grains are farm-grown.
