This whisky begins with Glenmorangie’s signature Highland single malt before undergoing a pioneering four-cask finishing process—the first of its kind at the distillery. It is finished in Moroccan red wine casks, Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, new charred oak casks, and shaved toasted red wine casks, each contributing layers of floral spice, sweetness, and depth. Bottled at 46% ABV and non-chill filtered, A Tale of Spices preserves its full texture and aromatic intensity.

Tasting Notes
The nose is highly perfumed with rose, jasmine, and carnation, layered with saffron, cumin, nutmeg, ginger, and anise, supported by sweet oak and a gentle menthol freshness. On the palate, bold warming spices such as ginger, black pepper, and mustard seed are balanced by mint toffee, demerara sugar, and sugar-coated almonds, with a subtle herbal lift.
