Founded by Joe Beatrice in 2013 in Louisville, Kentucky, Barrell doesn't operate its own distillery — instead, the team sources cask-strength bourbon, rye, and malt whiskey from working distilleries across the United States and abroad, then blends them with the kind of intentionality you usually only see from single-distillery brands.
