    1792 Aged 12 years - tops

Having gone through a bottle of the entire 1792 line, the 12 year old is the only one I would drink anymore. This was my 3rd bottle of it, and for old fashions, and for slow sipping, the aroma and nose cannot be beat. Even a teaspoon on top of a Weller SP gives it a super finish! It's a staple on my bar now. Great price and fast shipping has BC on my bookmarks now.

1792 Aged Twelve Years Bourbon spawns with its amber color, on the nose there's notes of butterscotch and wood smoke rise to the top first, along with the most mild pinch of ethanol. After a moment in the glass, French vanilla also joins the party. On the first sip, a rich toffee note is present, along with a touch of cherry. After the first sip or two, an bold oak note begins to grow. The oak and toffee carry through to a medium-length finish that also includes some notes of candied pecans. The solitary note that lasts longest is certainly the oak, and it makes for a rather dry tail on the finish.
