Scotch whisky was distilled in handcrafted, small copper stills in hidden away bothies. It was back then that George started making what would soon become a world-renowned single malt scotch whisky which reshaped the conventions of the time, expanding people’s horizons in taste and setting the signature fruity floral Speyside style. The Glenlivet 12 Year Old – Illicit Still is our way of never forgetting where it all began. This limited edition pays tribute to our founder’s original, illegally distilled, Glenlivet whisky.
